I love the midwit-tier "dark ages" one. As if it hasn't become more and more apparent to even lay historians that the dark ages were not as dark as the later enlightenment propagandists portrayed them as.
Nor other factors such as the collapse of the Roman empire. Nor the role of monestaries/etc. in preserving and developing scientific knowledge.
Right! And no, the dark ages weren’t dark because they were terribly evil or some other stupid overly used adjective, we call them the Dark Ages because there are fewer written records making the period harder to learn about about by people who want to understand history.
This caused me to do some reading on Nika riots. Need to know about this Mundo/Mundus. He fought on the Roman side, but he was a barbarian? Was he assimilated? Did he sell out his Germanic roots? He seems to have come from Goths, but eventually returned to fight against them.

Does that rag mean how JE Hoover was above the law, or do they just like ignoring inconvenient truths?
They really are one of the most ridiculous “publications” in existence.
Very cool, Phisto!
Did not expect an old school counterstrike reference in this piece, fair play.
