I struggle with one issue, or two, re Substack and free speech. I am good with Substack not 'filtering' the platform or at least not in a way I have noticed. But they gave a certain jab shilling doctor a featured platform here and it really still is upsetting me. (His comments were so contentious, he closed them quickly the first day). I do not look at his site because it generates monies for him, possibly. I do not even know if he is still featured, but that Substack did that, esteemed him, was...problematic for me re their character as a publisher. I decided I would not publish here if they were willing to 'support' the work of someone who is so obviously a pharma shill over some other very high quality writers who are not featured and should be, if Substack was trying to be 'equal handed'.
