The idea was to point out how all people are different (diverse). If all people are already diverse, how would you make sure that you have the right amount of whatever kind of persons? In the end it would always come down to race. Because that's the entire point of DEI(DIE) it's like global Affirmative Action.
If you're being "inclusive" but the majority of people where you are happen to be white, Asian, or whatever, how are you going to make your decision? What then becomes the "diverse" criteria?
My line of questioning lead to the inescapable conclusion; in order to achieve the goal of "diversity" one would necessarily have to discriminate.

Taking it out into the light of day is far more effective than banishment. I'd much rather make arguments against their points in the light of day than deplatform them. People who want to censor are week-minded and have no interest in policy discussion.
