Nuevo Munroe is what I’ve been calling not just my more personal musings but also my exploration into what 21st century American politics may look like. As you can imagine, these are the earliest papers and will be the least focused, most poetic, and probably the most ignored. Works for me, as I believe providing windows into the process and the development of my thinking is just as important as anything.
Besides that, the following has become a major axiom of the work: finished ideas are for degenerate minds. History has not ended. America is still very new. We are moving into something different, perhaps quite soon.
At this stage I believe I’ve identified the intended audience and in the interest of clear communication will define it the best I can now. It will help clarify the character of the work, the project, and hopefully enlist thoughts from said audience.
America is a group project. We all contribute, in the end. Onward!
First and foremost this work is for citizens of the United States of America. By this I mean natural born and naturalized citizens. For clarity, I mean the traditional definitions of these concepts. This means me, as a native born near Cleveland, Ohio in 1981. This means the immigrant who went through the naturalization process and took the oath of citizenship. We are the same. We are brothers, sisters, and fellow citizens of this nation. These works are for you, your families, and your communities.
You are not only the audience, but my only legitimate critics. Should you develop any sense of loyalty to these writings over the years, kindly remember another critical principle: one of the highest duties a man can perform for his country is criticizing it. In fact, it’s one of the clearest ways to see who really loves it or not.
Finally, I believe citizens of the United States of America are the best wellspring of hope and drive toward the greater American and Nuevo Monroe project. It is we who forged the greatest country the world has ever seen and it is we who will expand the best of it to this western hemisphere and beyond in space. Not just in competition, as there will be plenty of that, but in a spirit of stewardship and responsibility.
This is a great work. It will require great men and women. Those people will be Americans.
For the people in this country here legal or illegally, whether temporarily here or permanently residing, your feet are on the ground. I’m glad they are, first and foremost. Whatever troubles or issues you may face (and that my fellow citizens my wish upon you) will not be a subject for quite some time. Don’t worry about it. You are welcome to read, speak up, and even make suggestions. However, I strongly encourage naturalized citizenship for you and yours here. It’s important as it marks you a potential contributor to not just the Nuevo Monroe project but America as a whole.
To those living outside the United States but in the Western Hemisphere I welcome your thoughts and opinions. At some stage I will expand upon the ideas of Nuevo Monroe and its greater vision. I don’t know how long that will take (possibly years), so please bear with me as I put my own house in order.
To those living outside the Western Hemisphere in the Old World, I will speak bluntly. I believe you have little to say to us and in fact are the source of what ails us now. You are welcome to read, you are welcome to respectfully comment, but know that you are intruding on an intimate family meeting in a time of great crisis. If you insist on looking in the house through the window? Mind your manners and know your place.
In conclusion, let me turn back to my fellow citizens of the United States of America not just now but in the future yet to be born. We are in deep crisis, but it is nothing unique in human history. There might be the specific characteristics, new technologies, new cultural arrangements, but we are still inside history. We are still inside the universe. We are still capable of building something great. This was never not the case.
Next I’ll likely discuss first principles. The core of American society and culture. What makes us unique? What makes us who we are? What must we identify as the best of ourselves in which to build (or rebuild) our future?
Until then.
Interested. Following. My first thoughts are that it lies outside the political arena - and the problem lies far above politrix, since billionaires control that and almost everything else - media, banks, medicine, technology, military, the narratives, ETC. I think it needs to be more bottom up, grass roots, and busting the myths that we have anything democratic right now. We're in the matrix. First step is waking up enough to realize that. Mass awakening must replace mass psychosis. Then we can organize as loosely and organically as possible - anarchy doesn't have to mean violent chaos.

There’s quite a few of us performing an honest update and reassessment of the current hour and working the clay of new ideas to sculpt a model of how we might all choose to move onward together into a safe, prosperous and productive future.
Looking forward to seeing what you have in mind.
